Max’s ability to draft effective briefs and legal pleadings contributes to the new standard our firm has set for the quality of work litigation attorneys deliver. Max discovered his knack for writing while studying English at the University of Michigan and honed his writing skills at the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude. While in law school, Max served as an Articles & Comments Editor for the Inter-American Law Review. He assisted other students with legal writing as a Writing Dean’s Fellow in the Academic Achievement Program, and he also gained valuable experience as a research assistant.
Max not only brings a solid education to the table, his experience prior to joining the Sarelson Law Firm serves as a solid foundation upon which he continues to build his successful legal career. Before obtaining a law degree, Max worked on complex securities and bankruptcy matters as a legal assistant at a Washington, D.C. law firm. During law school, Max interned with both the State Attorney’s Office and the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Miami. Max also drafted appeals and researched sentencing issues while working for criminal defense attorneys in Miami during law school. Now Max works alongside our firm’s founder, Matthew Seth Sarelson, to challenge injustices and stand up for individuals who have been defrauded, discriminated against or otherwise wronged.
